OUR
pillars
As the foundation of Kappa Phi Lambda, our pillars are values that not only differentiate us from other organizations, but they unite us together in this sisterhood! Our pillars motivate and guide us to become stronger women, volunteer and provide service, and advocate for cultural diversity in our local communities.

sisterhood
Over twenty-two years since its creation, Kappa Phi Lambda now spans across the nation consisting of 3200+ sisters. Our sisters represent a variety of nationalities and ethnicities while working toward common goals.
We have traveled far and wide and represent our sorority around the world, and are always seeking to empower women and spread positivity wherever we go. Our large network of loving sisters continues to expand and create lifelong bonds!
service
Giving back to the community and supporting local causes is a vital part of what we do and is extremely important to our sisters. The pillar of community service empowers sisters to engage in their local communities and confront tough issues.
In Champaign-Urbana, our chapter has been fortunate to be able to support various organizations. Working closely with these organizations has allowed us to gain a better understanding of social issues that affect our society.
cultural diversity
Although we are an Asian interest sorority, we are by no means Asian-exclusive. Across the nation, our sisters represent over 50 different ethnicities and more than 30 different native languages.
Every spring we hold our largest annual multi-cultural event, Mr. Asian UIUC! In addition to hosting this and other cultural events, our sisters often attend cultural events held by other organizations, upholding the importance of understanding all cultures.
